The Rolls-Royce Vulture aero engine did not have "two crankshafts geared together and driving a common propeller-shaft". It had one crankshaft with six Master Connecting Rods, one to each crankpin. Each of these Master Con-Rods was driven by a piston in one cylinder block, probably 'A' block. Each of the six big-ends carried lugs for the three sets of Slave Connecting Rods, each driven by its own piston in one or other of the three other cylinder blocks.
