Fact-checking
editIt appears from this URL that user:Essjay has edited this page no less than 10 times. As this user apparently lied about his credentials, a thorough reexamination of this article is in order. I will begin verifying this information tomorrow. Firsfron of Ronchester 05:18, 5 March 2007 (UTC)

- Needs sorting out anyway, as it isn't properly referenced, quite apart from the business concerning Essjay's liberties with the truth. Moreschi Request a recording? 22:00, 5 March 2007 (UTC)
Most - if not all - of the material on the page is derived from Archdiocesan sources. I have also included material regarding Archbishop Thomas Kelly's resignation, departure from Louisville and subsequent replacement by Joseph Kurtz. Ceremony_1968 19:56, 10 June 2007 (UTC)
- Where are the checks that were going to be made in June? It is now two months later and the factual accuracy tag remains. Please be more specific on facts that need to be checked instead of a wholesale question of the page. Mfields1 00:07, 29 August 2007 (UTC)
Sex abuse scandal
editThe Sex abuse scandal section focuses on one priest. Only the last sentence is relavant to the diocese. This section needs work. Mfields1 00:09, 29 August 2007 (UTC)
July 2021 Latin Church revision
editAs of July 2021, this article was modified to eliminate the nondescript term "Roman Catholic" in favor of the more precise distinction of "Latin Church" (the sui iuris church) and "Catholic Church" (the denomination). If you believe this edit to be in error or improper, please make the relevant reversion and open discussion on this talk page or my personal talk page. Thank you. ~ Pbritti (talk) 03:34, 16 July 2021 (UTC)
