This article is a 2008 promotion that has not been maintained to standard. A good deal of the information is dated, See also contains a number of links that should be worked into the article (the need to work in Sexual abuse scandal in Miami archdiocese is glaring-- FAs are supposed to be comprehensive), citations repeat the publisher as the author and need cleanup, and there is uncited text in the Bishops section. One sample only of dated text is a 2006 budget; the article has not been updated since its promotion, and it is more promotional in tone than comprehensive. If these issues cannot be corrected, the article should be submitted to Featured article review. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 00:11, 10 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

I believe portions of NW Florida were under the archdiocese of Mobile until the diocese of Pensacola-Tallahassee was formed in the 1970’s. 68.225.69.134 (talk) 04:04, 19 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
