What Wikipedia states about the beginning of the bishopric is fundamentally different from what the Catholic Encyclopedia states:

Catholic Encyclopedia : Bishopric Posen/Poznan established 968 under jurisdiction of Archbishopric of Magdeburg In 1133 it was still confirmed as under jurisdiction of Magdeburg. It only came defacto under Archbishopric of Gniezno later.
