editSean Lavery (dancer) is right hand man to Peter Martins, ballet master in chief at New York City Ballet, and is a former principal dancer there. The dancers on which he made this, Judith Fugate and Peter Boal, were principal dancers, and Boal is now ballet master at Pacific Northwest Ballet. The article states the first point in its first few words and clicking on Peter Boal would lead to the second.
I have looked at the user page for User:Shadowblade and do not see any claims for expertise in ballet in particular or dance in general; there is a draft page, User:Shadowblade/Mark Greer, however, for:
- Mark Greer born Mark John Greer January, 1958 in Mattawan, Michigan. He is currently the Director of Bands for Mattawan Consolidated Schools.
I do not see how a Wikepedian who intends to post information about the bandmaster for a school district in Mattawan, Michigan, has any business complaining about an article pertaining to the ballet master at Pacific NW Ballet and the assistant to the ballet master at NYCB.
I am sorry to engage in an ad hominem attack, I apologize to Shadowblade for having done so — and am thankful that they're a lover of classical music — but having created a large number of (hyperlinked) entries having to do with City Ballet, am growing tired of sniping from people who do not appear to have any knowledge of ballet. move to Romeo and Juliet (Lavery)
editMay this be moved to Romeo and Juliet (Lavery)? Lavery ballet is redundant. Robert Greer (talk) 13:46, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
