Removed Accusations of Killing a Police Officer

This was the text:

"KILLED A COP in 1955 released from detention center aged 21 never tried as an adult Ron Dean murdered a Chicago Police Officer when he was 15 or 16. On July 9, 1955, Ron Dean snatched a weapon away from a CPD officer in the old 32nd district station in Chicago and shot him. Patrolman Albert H. Brown died of his wounds on July 19th, 1955. The youth Ron Dean was apprehended two days later and spent some years in an Illinois Youth Detention facility, I believe the law then required that youths be released when they turned 21, and Ron Dean was released when he turned 21. There was no such thing as charging a teenager as an adult then. This has been reported before and Ron Dean will never comment in public about this. It is quite ironic that he has made a living his whole life playing cops. Ron Dean is about 70 years old now so the timeline is indeed correct. Officer Brown still has family living in the Chicago area and they remember, they will always remember. See the Officer Down memorial Page for details except they do not mention Ron Dean's name. http://www.odmp.org/officer/2323-patrolman-albert-h.-brown I first read of this in Chicago magazine almost 20 years ago and could not believe it, I did some research and learned it was very true."

Because... wow. Even if it's true, obviously it's just a sort of stream-of-consciousness rant about it, nothing that belongs on Wikipedia, and it took up 95% of his page. Can anybody verify this story? There are other instances of it on the internet. Guidedbyalan (talk) 17:28, 4 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
