There are two different photos which are supposed to be of him. However, they are clearly different people, although one is presumably correct. Are there any baseball aficionados who can sort out which is correct. The lower photo has a caption referring to the Nashville Sounds, but the article does not even mention that team. I suspect that there may be two different baseballing Ron Johnsons. Editrite! (talk) 05:34, 28 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
- The external link for "Baseball-Reference (Minors)" shows that he played 20 games for AAA Nashville in 1985. The other picture is from 24 years later and doesn't show his face as fully. I think it's the same guy. -- Pemilligan (talk) 05:45, 28 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
- We should be sure it is Johnson if we are going to include the image in the article. If there is any doubt, I suggest we remove the photo and replace it with on that we are certain is him. Jurisdicta (talk) 03:02, 30 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
- The source of the Nashville image, a team program, labels it as being Ron Johnson, the same Ron Johnson that is the subject of this article. Furthermore, I think it does look like the same person. Like Pemilligan said, they were taken 24 years apart, and the recent one has his face obscured in shadow and sunglasses. I see no reason to remove it.
