But he meets the 4th: "Have fought, as an amateur, in the final of a national amateur championship for an International Boxing Association/Association Internationale de Boxe Amateur (AIBA) affiliated and World Amateur Boxing Championship medal winning country (for Men see Medal table (1974 - present), for Women see Medal table (2001 - present)), or have represented their AIBA affiliated country in a continental (or higher) tournament." Then why was this article previously deleted anyway? Băcăuan (talk) 10:37, 31 August 2014 (UTC)Reply
I removed the speedy delete and notability tags - I think you have demonstrated he meets WP:NBOX. It would help if it was more clear when he won the national championship.Peter Rehse (talk) 22:04, 31 August 2014 (UTC)Reply
Thank you again! I didn't know you have those rules. Because I thought the EU medal is continental and is more important than a national championship. Here is a link. Each year he fought at the National Championships as a senior, he won the gold medal of the 75 kilograms weight class. I only checked for the 2010: official source on the Romanian Boxing Federation. The source mentioned says he finished 4th at the 2007 European championships, but there was no such event. AIBA's European championships occur in even numbered years. He's also not listed among the medal winners at 2008 European Amateur Boxing Championships. Please don't keep putting in the claim unless you can provide a good independent source (which a personal interview is not). Papaursa (talk) 02:10, 2 September 2014 (UTC)Reply
