Colors and meanings

I removed the following section, because it has no source and is counter to heraldry as I understand it. I am fairly certain that specific heraldic colors almost never have specific meanings, and that most attempts to do so are fairly artificial. After looking about in Google, I can in fact find several sites that assign completely different meanings to these colors.

“ The colour of the rose may indicate its meaning. A red rose may be symbolic of martyrdom, a white rose expresses faith, and a yellow rose is a symbol of achievement. Roses can be found in all natural colours, in addition to black, green, and blue. ”
