This is a great article and some very good work has been done here. But I will just add there is some information on a book about Mackenberg, it has not been released yet [1], [2], I am guessing it will be published by an academic or reliable publisher. Thanks, I was aware of it - would have included it in bibliography if I could find publisher/isbn/etc for it. It's apparently a reprint of articles written by Mackenberg, so presumably some material in it is already in the bibliography.
