This article was deleted, and has been restored with changes and new references. If forms an important part of a series of articles on the Solo Songs of the important English composer Sir Edward Elgar. It is possible it was deleted because it may have been prematurely issued in an incomplete and unsatisfactory form. This editor is aware that the "consider for deletion" tag was stuck on it before it was considered complete, and was not given time to revise it, or revisions ignored.
