Related data in a relational database
edit@GhostInTheMachine WRT: Changing short description from "A record of related data stored in a relational database table" to "Related data in a relational database"
The new short desc is not wrong, but I think is misleading. The fields of a row are related, but that is not the only (or maybe the most important) kind of relating that happens in a relational database. The new desc implies that row encapsulates the data relating aspect of a database.
A row is a record and it's in a table ... not only is that not wrong, but I think it's useful and precise. Stevebroshar (talk) 03:12, 31 July 2024 (UTC)
