Gruppo Bande Amhara
editI have added another source with references to the "Eritrean Ascari". The Gruppo Bande Amhara is still remembered by old Ascari.--Sabanglana (talk) 02:52, 25 January 2009 (UTC)
- It's not enough yet, most of this page remains sourced only by self-published sources such as blogs and personal websites, in Italian on top of that, and this is against policy.--Le Petit Modificateur Laborieux (talk) 20:06, 3 March 2009 (UTC)
- How many different references do you want? Here it is a brief list:
- They are not Blogs or self-published sources (please, read even the four books in bibliography). I don't understand why you erased my "B" rating: Eritrean Ascari article is well written and documented (much more than many other articles). And it is wikipedia policy that -if there are no references in english- the italian (or foreign language) references and bibliography can be allowed to be used in an article, with proper translation like in the "wrnzla/libero" ([1])--Sabanglana (talk) 01:25, 27 March 2009 (UTC)
Delete this whole "Eritrean Ascari" Wikipedia entry.. This wiki entry is meant to Racially and Ethnically insult Eritreans. I wouldn't be surprised if the original author or authors of this wiki are Ethiopians. Ethiopians are notorious for insulting Eritreans with the word "Ascari". Just a side note, many of the Ascaris who served in the Italian Armies were from Gondar and Shewa and Tigray, (ALL ETHIOPIANS!) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Puhleec (talk • contribs) 06:37, 17 September 2010 (UTC)
- I suggest Puhleec to read academic books about Eritrean Ascari. He will "discover" a lot of things about the close relationship between Eritrean Ascari and Italians and why the best Italian colonial troops were from Eritrea....--NBDA (talk) 06:11, 14 January 2011 (UTC)
