Image copyright problem with Image:Scotbadge tn.png
editThe image Image:Scotbadge tn.png is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check
- That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
- That this article is linked to from the image description page.

Tartan
editThere seems to be some dispute about the RHF Regimental tartan. This was definitely HLI Mackenzie, not Government. Check any picture of men from the Battalion in No.2 dress and the red/buff overlay on the tartan is obvious. The same goes for the bonnet flash. There are many examples in the gallery on the Regimental Association's website. If you look at the TOS on the Regimental Store website, the drop down menu for the patch clearly states "RHF - Mackenzie". Thanks.--Fahrenheit666 (talk) 15:31, 7 December 2016 (UTC)
- Further to that - as stated here on the Regimental Association's website, "In honour of both Regiments, the RHF still wears the HLI’s Mackenzie tartan trews (trousers) and retains the Flaming Grenade cap badge from the RSF."--Fahrenheit666 (talk) 15:36, 7 December 2016 (UTC)
