Comment from WP:RMTR: The nursery rhyme seems to also sometimes be considered a song. It has the Roud Folk Song Index number 3101, so maybe the Hank Thompson song should be at Rub-A-Dub-Dub (country music song). I also wonder about the capital 'A' and MOS:CT; the only cited sources seem to use all-caps. —⁠ ⁠BarrelProof (talk) 17:15, 1 May 2024 (UTC)

• Move to Rub-a-Dub-Dub (country music song) (lowercase 'a' per MOS:CT). There is also Rub-a-Dub-Dub (TV series) (lowercase 'a', but capitalized in the opening sentence) and Rub a Dub Dub (a redirect to a band article).   I can't find usage of that disambiguator, and all but one instance with "(country song)" are redirects. According to WP:DABSONG, the disambiguator "(Hank Thompson song)" should work.

  The record sleeve of Songs of the Brazos Valley lists the song with an uppercase 'A'. Should that override MOS:CT? Kidneyspr (talk) 21:12, 2 May 2024 (UTC)

Good point about "(Hank Thompson song)". About the "A", the Allmusic review of the album by Bruce Eder calls it "Rub-a-Dub-Dub" (lowercase 'a'). —⁠ ⁠BarrelProof (talk) 21:35, 2 May 2024 (UTC)

There's no consistency from what I can find. So we default to lowercase, moving Rub-A-Dub-Dub to Rub-a-Dub-Dub (Hank Thompson song)?

I think it doesn't matter much due to low number of visits, but should Rub-A-Dub-Dub then redirect to the disambiguation page instead of the nursery rhyme due to its capitalization? Kidneyspr (talk) 23:46, 2 May 2024 (UTC)
