Talk:Rubies of Eventide

This article appears to have been written by one person in less than an hour. It was not even spell-checked and there were many spelling mistakes. I have tagged it for cleanup, and I hope someone will help reorganize, rewrite, and expand on much of this stub.

Well, I'm glad to see that this article has improved. Now it is well written and neatly organized. All it needs now is to be "wikified" somewhat and it will be able to stand up against other MMORPG articles on Wikipedia. 24.4.22.239 01:45, 2 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

After some extensive editing I removed the cleanup tag. Hopefully the other users will agree with this. Earthguido 20:21, 10 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

I added references to the article, and then I removed the tag. I hope I am doing this the right way, if the tag should have been removed by someone else please accept my apologies... this is the first time I cooperate in Wikipedia and I hope not the last one. I will try to expand the article before removing the other tag Earthguido 20:35, 12 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

I agree that the requested reference citations from major on-line publications have been added. The overall layout is quite similar to the other MMORPG pages. I think it has now met the general notability guidelines. Removing the Notability tag that was added on May 2007. TOJMatt 22:24, 24 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Editing Tavern.jpg

edit

The image Tavern.jpg is inteneded for use with this article and is intended to be a screenshot from the video game "Rubies of Eventide" please refrain from editing it to be photographs of real taverns as those do no meet the image qualifications. —Preceding unsigned comment added by TVR Enthusiast (talkcontribs) 21:30, 17 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Vandalism

edit

I removed vandalism introduced by the following IP addresses.

141.168.57.196
213.189.68.188

Although I made a few edits, this article is still in severe need of additional information as well as general editing. The server used to create new accounts for the game is also going through a period of extended unavailability, so there doesn't seem to be any means of independently verifying the contents of this article. -- Sangrito

Note to vandals

edit

Wikipedia is a community resource, maintained through donations of both time and money, for the benefit of all. Defacing entries with frivolous comments doesn't help anyone.

Now if that language is too flowery for you to understand, try this: Wikipedia tracks your IP address, and you are not far behind that address. Sangrito 22:12, 19 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Story?

edit

Doesnt RoE have a story? Should'nt we put that up here (there's nothing on the site but ingame a character tell you a history)

I don't think it has a "real" potential story... only a collection of various different quests that only seem to be connected however in a very loosely fashion (seemingly almost as if they have no conection with one another at all) User:AWP_Lizard

As a matter of fact it has a story, the whole game is based on a book. The author decided to create a RPG instead of publishing it. There is no complete version of the book, but several hints of the story can be found in the official forums.Earthguido 15:21, 12 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Typing that in the search currently pulls up "Rules of Engagement."
