Images
editThe current images seem to be of Deerstalkers (Model 44s), which as mentioned in the article have a very different action as Model 99/44 Deerfields (based on the M1 carbine/Mini-14). They seem to be different enough guns as to warrant separate articles, and images of the Deerstalkers should probably not be included in this article, except perhaps for comparison purposes.
I'm proposing an article for the Ruger Model 44 be created and the images moved there. Any thoughts? - Bardbom (talk) 00:58, 24 February 2014 (UTC)
Preview photograph
editI notice that for some reason that on the little "preview" tag that pops up when you hover over a link (provided that you have that function enabled) shows an image of a Ruger MK III , rather than the image which is actually on this page, which is what it's supposed to show. Oddly, I noticed the exact same issue with a link to Ruger No. 1 I hovered over a few weeks ago, showing the exact same image of a MK III instead of the photo of the No. 1 rifle which was actually on that page. I don't know why that should happen, but it seems odd that both effected pages should be about Rugers. It's even more of an issue now, because they've started showing these same "previews" at the bottom of a page as "similar pages", so people are more likely to see it. I have no idea how to fix this myself, but I thought I'd bring it to someone's attention (maybe). AnnaGoFast (talk) 01:52, 28 February 2016 (UTC)
- AnnaGoFast, is it the image from Template:Ruger_firearms? I don't know what the preview function is (I may not have it enabled), but it's probably because that's the template image. Faceless Enemy (talk) 04:40, 28 February 2016 (UTC)
