Resignation from government and Iraq voting record
editI've added in that Brown resigned from government in opposition to intervention in Iraq, following this BBC report. However, his archived BBC profile (but not theyworkforyou) shows that he continued as a Parliamentary Private Secretary (PPS) from 2003 onwards. He subsequently voted against the case for war in Iraq being not yet established and was absent for the vote to declare war. [1] Anyone able to help clear things up? External links modified
editHello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on Russell Brown. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
- Added archive http://web.archive.org/web/20160106100747/http://politics.guardian.co.uk/person/0,9290,-662,00.html to http://politics.guardian.co.uk/person/0,9290,-662,00.html
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true or failed to let others know (documentation at {{Sourcecheck}}).
