Modern image: seeking input/consensus
editRegarding this edit, seeking input/consensus from other editors on whether Image 1 or Image 2 (or some other modern image from Commons) is more appropriate. My personal opinion is that Image 1 is poor quality: the bottom of the building is cut off and it is distorted, with the right tower curved and the cross cut off at the top). Doremo (talk) 14:15, 27 July 2021 (UTC)
- Hello Doremo, I certainly prefer Image 2 or even better, a new photo if any visual modificiation to the chapel has recently taken place. Image 1 has a distorted perspective and is thus not suitable. Please note that Image 2 and other images of this chapel will soon be deleted on Commons since they will only meet the Commons criteria in 2036 (as per the cut-off of 120 years for orphan architectural works in Slovenia). You are welcome to transfer the image here in the meantime. Please use {{FoP-USonly}} and another copyright tag (e.g. {{cc-by-sa-4.0}}) for such cases. --TadejM my talk 01:22, 30 November 2022 (UTC)

Requested move 31 July 2023
edit- The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review after discussing it on the closer's talk page. No further edits should be made to this discussion.
The result of the move request was: moved. No objections to the move after two weeks, appears uncontroversial even with one support !vote. (closed by non-admin page mover) The Night Watch (talk) 23:31, 16 August 2023 (UTC)
Russian Chapel on the Vršič Pass → Russian Chapel (Vršič Pass) – The established name is solely Russian Chapel, without the epithet 'on the Vršič Pass' TadejM my talk 00:20, 31 July 2023 (UTC)— Relisting. —usernamekiran (talk) 16:56, 7 August 2023 (UTC)
- Support. The current name is a direct translation from Slovene. Eastern European languages often name sites and structures like this, but it is not normal or natural English and direct translation is not ideal, even if that was its formal name. -- Necrothesp (talk) 15:02, 1 August 2023 (UTC)
- I was gonna close as "moved" given that there is an unanimous consensus, but this was relisted after the support !vote and no other !votes came in. usernamekiran, is there a reason this should've been relisted and can this be closed as moved? @ClydeFranklin and The Night Watch: Hi. After the first week, there was one only one support (+one proposer). Under such circumstances it is generally a good idea to relist the discussion for a second week to let other editors contribute, rather than having comments like "we didn't get to participate", and/or getting another RM soon (I have seen such scenarios in the past). —usernamekiran (talk) 05:53, 17 August 2023 (UTC)
