In a couple of 1963 hits she is "Miss Sherman"; teammate/partner is "Mrs. Sally Johnson".

Bequest;

1965-04-14, p38. Truscott bridge column. "Bridge: Meredith is Left $450,000 For Activities as a Player"

That is Adam Meredith of Britain, the chief beneficiary of Sherman's will --in trust, the remainder to revert to her family upon his death.
