There has been a Plot summary template for the episodes since April, and I've thought of adding the summaries from the Prime video listing however the way they're written is not very encylopedic; but since this is a non-serial TV show that revolves around resolving puzzles and games, is it necessary to continue to have this template? I think just having listed the guest stars for each episode is relevant enough. -Gouleg (Talk • Contribs) 15:11, 19 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
Mystery Playdate is not a serial TV series (oh wow) as the ones you cited. It would be more akin to a game show as the goal in each episode is finding out who is Ryan's playdate by completing challenges that give out hints. Do episode lists need to have a summary in order to be good lists? Not really, some of the featured lists that I've seen for non-serial shows are just lists of contestants for shows such as The Apprentice, Survivor and American Idol, so it shouldn't be "weird" for wikipedia to have "bare" episode lists as long they're sourced (in this case, just having listed who guest starred in the series). -Gouleg (Talk • Contribs) 13:28, 13 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
The only way I can think this episode list could be improved would be by adding the challenges done in each episode (similar to the listing of games on List of Ellen's Game of Games) but even so, a lot of these challenges are not reocurring; again, I'm barred from getting more information due to being unable to buy episodes because of geoblocking. -Gouleg🛋️ (Talk • Contribs) 14:17, 7 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
