editLets look at the refs given on my talk page. [1] this looks like a blog and can`t be used per wp:rs and wp:blp [2] this i am unsure of and it ought to be posted to the blp notice board. If this is all there is however it will be undue to put it in, are there no MSM reports of this? mark nutley (talk) 22:30, 4 October 2010 (UTC)
Driving allegation
editThis is hardly worth a mention at all in my opinion,, adding that he had a small legal amount of alcohol in his system is clearly not to be added as this is totally acceptable and as such not notable. In October Quarles was charged with reckless driving in a car park. {strong national citation} - are there any decent national citations reporting this? .. its a minor issue of no real educational or encyclopedic historic value in this persons life, imo I wouldn't add it at all, if he is convicted and something happens about it, like this minor driving violation causes a notable issue in his life then we could add it, but till then it has little value apart from a name and shame partisan one. - That`s what i figured, how`d you end up over here? Are you following me :) mark nutley (talk) 17:11, 5 October 2010 (UTC)
- ...innocently ..no. Off2riorob (talk) 17:21, 5 October 2010 (UTC)
- I'd have to agree with not adding the info. This seems to be a minor local event, and the Lexington newspaper reporting on the incident seems a bit inaccurate or sensational in regards to its terminology and portrayal of the whole thing. If it had been anyone else it certainly wouldn't have made the news, particularly because of the legal BAC, dispute of 'recklessness', and so on. *Vendetta* (whois talk edits)
