It's not pointless trivia: the point is that he was one of the very few people in the country to achieve national media attention due to his contempt for State advice regarding Covid-19 [1]. This was not a period of "regular life": the country was in lockdown, primarily to protect people in his age category. It was also noteworthy that there was extensive online commentary about his attention-seeking and selfish actions and opinions regarding this matter [2][3]. Lastly, calling it a Flu outbreak, as you do, shows lack of knowledge about Covid-19 (it's a different virus), which may explain why you seek to downplay this individual's actions.
