– For closer alignment with WP:NCPDAB, particularly avoiding hyphenated lifespan ranges. I believe the birth year of this Sōma Yoshitane is incorrect in the current title, as it does not match the article content and does not match what I find in (hopefully non-Wikipedia-derived) search results. Another Honda Yasushige is at Honda Yasushige (Zeze) and is thus disambiguated differently, but this Honda Yasushige overlapped between both the Sengoku and Edo periods and also overlapped between Okazaki han and Shiroi han and also overlapped between the Mikawa province and Kantō region, so I am just resorting to the birth year. The article about him refers to him as a samurai, but not as a daimyo, but the disambiguation page at Honda Yasushige refers to him as a daimyo, so I don't know which term is best to use. See also the similar recent two-article RM at Talk:Satake Yoshimasa (daimyo, born 1728). — BarrelProof (talk) 21:13, 30 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
