Preface - Brig. S. K. Malik has made a valuable contribution to Islamic jurisprudence by presenting a comprehensive survey of the Quranic Approach to the Principles of War and Peace. His has been a scolary presentation of what may be considered as an "analytic Re-statement" of the Quranic wisdom on the subject, as these are to be discerned in the writings of Western publicists, have been examined and exhibited for what they are worth in the context of Quranic principles.
