MKMS / MKMO
editThere is something wrong. The 1934 MKMO and MKPO (Maschinen Karabiner Militär Oben) / Maschinen Karabiner Polizei Oben) was the delayed blowback gun, the MKPS (Maschinen Karabiner Polizei Seitlich) was the straight blowback gun. The O in MKMO was for Auswurf Oben = Top Ejection, the S in MKPS was for Auswurf Seitlich = Side (lateral) Ejection. - Your edit lists a subsequent version as the name of the article. You've already changed this once and my reference contradicts your reference. The MKMO and MKPO were not delayed blowback. The former models were. Please chime in or provide a reference that I can read in English, otherwise on the English Wikipedia, I have to go with sources written in English.--Winged Brick (talk) 17:59, 2 December 2015 (UTC)
- Here my reference, in german, the MKMO was made in Neuhausen, Switzerland, german speaking region, the book (my reference) is a Swiss book, also written in german. Sorry for your reference. -- hmaag (talk) 11:03, 3 December 2015 (UTC)
- I looked at Smith's "Small Arms of the World" and it agrees with your source. The internet sources that I was looking at were incorrect. Thanks. --Winged Brick (talk) 17:51, 4 December 2015 (UTC)
I found it too in the Small Arms 1962 Edition, and thanks for the clean-up-- hmaag (talk) 10:52, 5 December 2015 (UTC)

editWhy is the article called MKMO, if that's only one of four variants? --84.132.144.110 (talk) 15:21, 8 April 2022 (UTC)
