This article is in good shape. I have a few comments:

• in the lead, suggest "or in Libya"→"or was based in Italian Cyrenaica or Italian Tripolitania" and link
• suggest turning lk=in for the displacement to link long tons
• "The ship turned away" which ship?
• suggest "and used a torpedo to sink one of the drifters maintaining it"
• I reckon U-boats should be u-boats
• comma after "see the coast"
• Royal Italian navy and Regia Marina are both linked. Suggest "Regia Marina (Royal Italian Navy)" and linking only at first mention
• link Eastern Mediterranean?
• "Taranto, Italy,"
• where in Libya was she assigned? This may help with the lead linking, as there is Italian Cyrenaica and Italian Tripolitania at this point
