Is there a reason this is past tense? I know most things in the night sky happened ages ago, but if it is still visible, I think it should be in present tense Mwv2 (talk) 13:29, 22 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

This has long since faded from sight. A proper use of the present tense would be in reference to the supernova remnantRJH (talk) 17:52, 16 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
