Talk:SPECint

It would be really good if this page said explicitly whether a larger or smaller specint value was faster. I'm assuming from reading that a smaller number is better but it would be nice to make this immediately obvious if true.

Problems

edit

It's currently a mess of 2000 and 2006. It also doesn't discuss how values are averaged (Geometric mean of the normalized ratios). Hobit (talk) 17:39, 1 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
This page should mention the SPEC CPU 2017 benchmark. Dan Oom (talk) 16:49, 15 January 2019 (UTC)Reply
[1] says that SPECint 2006 was retired a year ago. The new benchmark is called SPEC CPU rather than SPECint so maybe this whole page needs to be migrated from SPECint to SPEC CPU. 216.228.112.21 (talk) 00:08, 18 January 2019 (UTC)Reply
