If not M5 then is SPICA concept dead
editESA or JAXA can't afford to develop it for the M5 mission. Now what happens ? Will it look for more funds or get redesigned for lower cost ? - Rod57 (talk) 12:29, 6 December 2020 (UTC)
- Probably nothing further will happen. It is possible to revive the project if it still is scientifically valuable, but it will take a decade at least and probably all the instruments will need redesign then. It is also possible that the planned instruments will find their way onto other projects.--Giftzwerg 88 (talk) 08:57, 27 March 2021 (UTC)
