Dodge Viper versus SRT Viper
editAs this article covers all generations of the Viper, should the WP:COMMONNAME of Dodge Viper be the title of the article or should the new name of "SRT Viper" be used, even though it is only applicable to part of the article? 72Dino (talk) 00:15, 21 January 2013 (UTC)
- I think it should be SRT Viper. Unless Dodge Viper continues to be the common name since the change, the name should stay SRT Viper. As far as I've seen recently, since the new official name is SRT Viper, most motoring journals are using that name to refer to the car. --Nick2253 (talk) 22:54, 8 July 2013 (UTC)
Lead picture
editThe current lead picture is of the Viper logo, not the car. Since this article is about an actual physical thing, shouldn't the lead pic be of an actual viper? --Nick2253 (talk) 22:55, 8 July 2013 (UTC)
I agree. I believe that the picture should contain the actual fifth-generation car as well as the current logo (like the article for the Chevrolet Corvette). This should be done whenever possible.--Gg53000 (talk) 01:16, 5 January 2014 (UTC)
