IMO, there is too much detail in this article for an encyclopedic entry. It reads more like a laundry list of movements than a readable piece of prose. It needs some consolidation and better focus. Gatoclass (talk) 03:10, 28 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
Were every Empire ship article the same in this respect, I'd agree with you. Some ships get better coverage than others. The detailed war history of a few serves to illustrate the service of the majority. the MV Empire Creek article could have been given the same treatment, but I chose not to.
