Please always insert the ship's launch date (in parenthesis) whenever titling an article on a particular vessel, to distinguish ships of the same name. For example, with the Clan Alpine there were five distinct vessels (all owned by Clan Line Steamers) which carried this name in turn, and the article as mentioned does not identify this. You might care to note that I was formerly (in the 1960s) a manager of Clan Line Steamers. Rif Winfield (talk) 18:48, 6 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
