Official variant?

edit

I saw this linked from the list of Ubuntu-based derivatives - and I was wondering how true that is. Is this a Canonical-endorsed distro? While the front page does mention that they received permission from Shuttleworth to use the Ubuntu logo, I don't see anything about it being an official derivative. Either that or I've misunderstood the meaning of "official variant". Help, please...?
