John Hamilton or James Hamilton
editThe article refers events of 1556 and mentions a Bishop James Hamilton, but links to a John Hamilton. This is confusing, as the James Hamilton in question wasn't Bishop of Argyle, but Archbishop of St Andrews. The sources also seem to be confused on this point. John Hamilton was Bishop of Argyle at the right time, but James Hamilton had the necessary half-brother. The sources are also unclear. I hope this can be resolved by a suitable expert.
