Safelite massive advertising on Conservative Radio in the Southeast during 2012 Presidential Election
Sounds like WP:OR. A connection is unlikely to be the result of anything other than: there are a lot of listeners with those shows (especially these days) and the company wants to reach as many potential customers as possible. DP76764 (Talk) 17:14, 13 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

Before the 2010s, there used to be a company called Auto Glass Center. They were founded in 1946, a year before Safelite, and their slogan was "Your Hometown Glass Company". In the 2010s, they were bought out by Safelite and the acquisition marked Safelite's first stores in many of these areas. The cities I know for sure that had Auto Glass Center locations were Moline, Illinois and Lincoln, Nebraska. I have added this info to the article, but it is unsourced as I cannot seem to find anything when googling Auto Glass Center, which leads to generic results. The closest to a source I have is this https://www.google.com/maps/@41.4923946,-90.4966379,3a,15y,310.96h,80.03t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1s9lOlCt6MqDbtp4srJ8kAlA!2e0!7i13312!8i6656?hl=en and you have to click on Street View - Nov 2018 and set it to Aug 2011. While the building is now clearly Safelite, they still were using the former company's vans, and this can be clearly seen in the August 2011 streetview. This continued for some time until they were replaced with Safelite's own vans. Any help on this is greatly appreciated! Moline1 (talk) 15:41, 1 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
