Move suggestion

edit

I think the plot info here should be used to change it into a page about the S movie, with a subprofile for Princess Snow Kaguya, as done in the SuperS movie article. --Masamage 23:41, 30 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Whoa. What with the excellent reorg efforts done by Malkinann today, I think it's pretty clear we ought to go ahead and change the name. To leave a bit of room for any last-minute objection, I'll wait until tomorrow morning, September 20. --Masamage 00:19, 20 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
Unfortunately, the new title (Sailor Moon S movie) already exists as a redirect, so I can't do the move myself. I've submitted a request for an admin to help us out. --Masamage 07:13, 20 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for your helpfulness, but the page-moving guidelines say that we're not to just copy-paste pages into their new locations, as it destroys the edit history. I reverted it. Let's just wait.--Masamage 02:56, 25 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

I've deleted the target page and completed the page move, per request and above discussion. -GTBacchus(talk) 01:55, 28 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Lunas voice

edit

Is there anywhere we could put about lunas dub voice being to old for her human body I think its pretty important ♥Eternal Pink-ready for love♥ 16:19, 4 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

I think Luna's profile is probably the best place for it. (Does her human form have a different actress?) --Masamage 19:12, 4 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
I read It don't thats why its so bizzare to here the 40 year comeing out of it I never thought I would say it but I want to see the dub(for a cheap lol) ♥Eternal Pink-ready for love♥ 21:20, 4 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
That is bizarre. o____o I want to see it too. (Does this make me a masochist?) --Masamage 01:29, 5 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

I heard it. >.<;; Then I purged it out of my mind. Frankly it's so bad that I can't remember it... and believe me I remember about everything I see...--Hitsuji Kinno 17:12, 23 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
Say what you will, but the dub voice actress, Jill Frappier, is awesome and Luna's polar opposite. She jokingly commented about how she was overjoyed to finally have arms and legs like everyone else in the movie. :D Lunar Archivist (talk) 15:51, 21 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Title

edit

If we're going to be moving this article around, let's have it live at what the title actually is, which is Sailor Moon S: The Movie. --Masamage 21:14, 3 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Debatable Release date

edit

I say we should go by the release of it on Cartoon Network as the release date is very debatable. I do not believe that the VHS were released until after they aired on Cartoon Network because of this seeing as there is no actually founding proof as to when they were. In case anyone is wondering how I know this I own all 3 movies on VHS and only one says 2000 and that's Sailor Moon S: The Movie.

Here's the copyrights as seen on the back of all three:

  • Sailor Moon R: The Movie

© MCMXCV TOEI ANIMATION CO. LTD ©1999 NAOKO TAKEUCHI/KODANSHA TOEI ANIMATION For sale or rental in the United States and Canada. Artwork & Design ©1999 Pioneer Entertainment (USA) LP All rights reserved. Manufactured for and distributed by Pioneer Entertainment (USA) LP

  • Sailor Moon S: The Movie

© 1994 TOEI ANIMATION CO. LTD ©2000 NAOKO TAKEUCHI/KODANSHA TOEI ANIMATION For sale or rental in the United States and Canada. Package Design ©2000 Pioneer Entertainment (USA) LP All rights reserved. Manufactured for and distributed by Pioneer Entertainment (USA) LP

  • Sailor Moon SuperS: The Movie

© 1995 TOEI ANIMATION CO. LTD ©2000 NAOKO TAKEUCHI/KODANSHA TOEI ANIMATION For sale or rental in the United States and Canada. Artwork & Design ©1999 Pioneer Entertainment (USA) LP All rights reserved. Manufactured for and distributed by Pioneer Entertainment (USA) LP

Notice SuperS has 2 different ones...as I pointed out debatable and we should probably just use the Cartoon Network airdates instead of claiming the VHS's came out in 2000 when it is really unknown. JamesAlan1986 (talk-Contributes) 11:26, 19 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Luna's transformation into a human

edit

I have watched both versions of the movies both on VHS and DVD and in the VHS the sequence is cut short as it was deemed inappropriate. It removed any signs of breast and the video was dropped down to show above her chest so nothing below could be seen. In the uncut DVD this scene is retained and is extended showing the full transformation breast growing and all. JamesAlan1986 (talk-Contributes) 11:47, 19 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Princess Snow Kaguya

edit

Linda Ballantyne could not possibly be the voice of Princess Snow Kaguya in the English adaption as she is not credit.

End credits give as thus:

Voice Talents
Terri Hawkes, Tracy Hoyt
Susan Roman, Karen Bernstein
Katie Griffin, Stephenie Morgenstern
Sarah Lafleur, Barbara Radecki
Sabrina Grdovitch, Vince Corroza
Jill Frappier, Ron Rubin

Catherine Disher has also denied doing the role. She did do the voices of Mimet and the Kisenian Blossom in the R movie, but not the snow princess. --24.46.80.14 (talk) 05:16, 23 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
