Naoko Takeuchi's Name
editAccording to the official Website she names this arc "Dark Kingdom". That probably is worth noting. --Hitsuji Kinno 20:53, 11 July 2007 (UTC)
- That's probably worth moving the page for, in fact, since this title was a placeholder in lieu of anything official. How about Dark Kingdom arc? --Masamage ♫ 04:58, 12 July 2007 (UTC)
- I'm fine with it. -Malkinann 00:21, 15 July 2007 (UTC)

- Moving now. --Masamage ♫ 20:47, 20 September 2007 (UTC)

I think it would be more in keeping with the usual Wikipedia article naming standards to move this to Dark Kingdom (Sailor Moon). Caerwine Caer’s whines 20:27, 6 January 2008 (UTC)
- Not really, because it's only disambiguating from the Dark Kingdom article, which is also from Sailor Moon. The name of the arc is derived from the name of that character group. --Masamage ♫ 23:07, 6 January 2008 (UTC)
Note
editThe title order is wrong... the sub is being listed first when it should go second. I'm not able to fix this now, but could someone fix this and check the other articles in the project's episode lists?--Hitsuji Kinno (talk) 20:48, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
- I don't see it. The dub title is appearing before the subtitle in both the table header and its entries. --Masamage ♫ 22:38, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
- Sorry, typo. The dub should come after the sub title... not before, if we are following the MOS-Anime rules about event order. (manga, anime, dub...) Is there a FA precedent for dub before sub?--Hitsuji Kinno (talk) 03:33, 29 August 2008 (UTC)
Let me put a new way any strong objections to making the titles go sub before dub to fit the general order of the table and to follow the MOS-Anime rules? If you have objections, I'll give you one week. Also I'd like to fix the titles so where it says "warrior" in the translation it says "soldier" to be congruous with the Japanese word "Senshi" (unless it's in the box like that, if so holler.) Since the Japanese title is "Pretty Sailor Soldier Sailor Moon" I'd like some consistency... unless someone can come up with a good reason (box sets) to keep as is.--Hitsuji Kinno (talk) 04:55, 26 September 2008 (UTC)
- It's Warrior in the box sets. :/ --Masamage ♫ 15:39, 26 September 2008 (UTC)
- I fixed the title order which should make the table read better. Japanese English Title first, then English, which should correspond with the Japanese episode number first, then English episode. I'm going to double check back against FA tables.--Hitsuji Kinno (talk) 15:03, 20 October 2008 (UTC)
- This has been reverted. The English dub title comes before the sub. The dubs were released first, and all other lists where there is a difference put dub before sub. This is following the MoS guidelines, not putting the sub first. -- AnmaFinotera (talk · contribs) 15:48, 20 October 2008 (UTC)
- This goes against the listed MoS at AMP though. Even if the dub was released first, it makes the article hard to read because those who don't speak Japanese will assume that the dub title first is a translation of the Japanese title... and please don't revert without discussion first. I listed my reasoning and gave ample time... I don't like edit wars. The issue still stands even with the revert. --Hitsuji Kinno (talk) 15:39, 24 May 2010 (UTC)

List of Sailor Moon episodes (season 1) → Sailor Moon (season 1) – Per WP:TVSEASON. George Ho (talk) 06:57, 3 October 2014 (UTC)
- Oppose It's been standard practice for years that anime episode lists to use the "List of X episodes" as seen in Category:Lists of anime episodes. The current name is also supported by WP:LISTNAME because this is a list where as "X (season 1)" leaves the impression that this is an article about a particular season instead of a list of episodes. —Farix (t | c) 10:13, 3 October 2014 (UTC)
- I don't know. Sailor Moon R article no longer looks like a mere list format. I have proposed a merger of character group article into the article/list. --George Ho (talk) 16:47, 3 October 2014 (UTC)
- Oppose Anime episodes use the "List of.." format as Farix said. Other than the characters section, the page looks like every other Anime episode list on WP:A&M. Ryulong had moved the characters but someone put it back for whatever reason. I'd opt to move them to List of Sailor Moon characters where they belong. —KirtZMessage 22:30, 8 October 2014 (UTC)
- Oppose There is a long existing standard which has held up through many FLC's. I also agree with KirtZJ regarding the characters. SephyTheThird (talk) 23:01, 8 October 2014 (UTC)
- Oppose per WP:LISTNAME, merges can be held elsewhere. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 13:57, 9 October 2014 (UTC)

Synopsises not working
editFor some reason, the episode table does not list the synopsises anymore. The edit history doesn't show that they were removed. What happened?

The result of the move request was: Moved. (non-admin closure) Cwmhiraeth (talk) 10:18, 26 September 2019 (UTC)
- List of Sailor Moon episodes (season 1) → Sailor Moon (season 1)
- List of Sailor Moon R episodes → Sailor Moon R
- List of Sailor Moon S episodes → Sailor Moon S
- List of Sailor Moon SuperS episodes → Sailor Moon SuperS
- List of Sailor Moon Sailor Stars episodes → Sailor Moon Sailor Stars
– Articles on seasons of other anime series follow this pattern: Naruto (season 1), Dragon Ball Z (season 1), One Piece (season 1), and even the FAs Bleach (season 1) and Bleach (season 2). Most of them consist only of the episode list, with some including the DVD and other home releases. Same applies to the Sailor Moon seasons. LoЯd ۞pεth 17:49, 17 September 2019 (UTC)
- Support Seems consistent with not just anime series, but TV series in general. Relevant search results for article titles matching each pattern. See also Wikipedia:WikiProject_Television/Episode_coverage_task_force#Lists_of_episodes for more examples and WP:TVSEASON. Colin M (talk) 18:30, 17 September 2019 (UTC)
- Absolutely support as per WP:NCTV. This naming problem has been a consistent issue with the anime articles – you're either a "List of episodes" (i.e. multiple seasons), or you're a "season article": there's no such thing as a "List of episodes for a single season(!)" article. The proposed naming scheme is correct here. --IJBall (contribs • talk) 20:46, 20 September 2019 (UTC)
