Is there a port here?
editThe transportation section does not mention there being a port in Saint-Denis. During the war in 1809-1811, when England was taking the island from France, there was a port. How does it operate now? Do any passenger ships arrive at Saint-Denis? Any freighters?
- The History section might be expanded with information on the city's role in those tumultuous times. I added text to population and geography based on the information provided in the article, turning the numbers into sentences. I am curious how the city is laid out, with its sharp range of elevation, from sea level to 2,276 m. Where I live, pretty much everything is close to sea level, so Saint-Denis is hard to imagine. --Prairieplant (talk) 07:36, 14 June 2019 (UTC)
