Bad Info
editThe second paragraph of this is almost completely wrong. The explanation of magnitude is backwards. The temperature is off by 3 orders of magnitude and in the wrong units (F rather than K). It's unwiki and unsourced. The first paragraph and the infobox are correct per YBS, however. I'm tempted to rip it up, but I'm afraid a bot will see it as vandalism.--24.6.207.223 (talk) 01:38, 22 September 2008 (UTC)
not bad, just not worded right
editSee corrected text. It appears the original text was copied from its source without understanding its meaning. I corrected the text to make sense of it. Salient points: higher magnitude = dimmer, dimmer than Rigel because making it hotter causes a large portion of the stellar radiation to be emitted in the invisible ultraviolet, thus making it dimmer to us. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Pczerner (talk • contribs) 16:13, 19 December 2008 (UTC)
