"There are not many authentic and reliable reports about her life in Medina until her death"?

edit

Really? Fatema Mernissi in her 1987: Harem politique writes 4 pages about her, and cites: - ibn Saad: at-Tabaqat, vol.8, - Kitab-al-Afghani, vols. 3, 16, 17, 19, - ibn 'Asakir Tarikh: Madinat Dimashq - ibn Hassan al-Maliqi: al-Hadaiq al Ghanna' fi Akhbar an-Nissaa - ibn Habib al-Bagab al Muhahbar and tells there were far more. I'd consider this section as incomplete, a box should be put here to ask for additions... Thanks In Cairo there is a mosque named after her, see: http://www.mazaratmisr.org/ahl-ul-bayt/sayyida-sakina-bint-al-husayn/ we should mention that as well... ~ Maltebruessel (talk) 23:11, 28 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Unreliable sources

edit

Hi M1nhm! Thank you for your work on this article. It is, however, heavily based on primary sources and Shia websites which violate the Wikipedia guidelines in WP:PSTS and WP:NPOV and MOS:ISLAM. In this case, very similar information is available from reliable academic sources, including those listed in Ruqayya_bint_Husayn#References. The above work by Fatema Mernissi is another good work. I'd like to revise and expand the article from reliable sources, but it seems necessary to discuss this with you first as one of the main contributors to the current article. Please let me know if you oppose such changes to the article. Albertatiran (talk) 09:39, 3 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
