Merge
editThe article Salomon Oppenheim, Jr. is one sentence long and basically has just the date of birth and death of the founder of the bank. However, de:Salomon Oppenheim junior is a little longer, but still stubby. Instead of me merging (or rather redirecting) the article here, I'll leave it to someone else or I'll do it myself in a few weeks if there is no opposition.– sgeureka t•c 08:29, 8 October 2007 (UTC)

Bank of A. Levy?
editThe article says "Likewise, in 1936, the bank absorbed the Jewish Bank of A. Levy." Perhaps, but if so, it is an amazing coincidence that there was also a bank in Ventura County, California, also called Bank of A. Levy, which was acquired by First Interstate Bank in 1995. The existence of the European Bank of A. Levy should be verified. Anomalocaris (talk) 22:04, 10 April 2009 (UTC)
