Krunch

edit

I've been unable to find any evidence of the existence of this band beyond a screenshot from a now-deleted youtube video which purports to be Jones. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 51.6.87.170 (talk) 13:51, 18 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

Her connection with a punk group called Krunch has multiple sources, including the citation to The Guardian which is used in the article. Philip Cross (talk) 14:04, 18 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

The single source of this information is in fact https://archive.cyberguerrilla.org/a/2013/?p=13232 - all other reports use the same screenshot from the deleted video 'krunch2.avi'. A person like Sally Jones was hardly unlikely to be the subject of disinformation from intelligence agencies. As an avid fan of independent and punk music with a knowledge of the Kent scene of the 90s the lack of any corroborating evidence for Krunch's existence casts grave doubt that they were a real band. 51.6.87.170 (talk) 14:34, 18 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

On Wikipedia, editors' are obliged to use reliable sources rather than express their own opinions which are considered to be original research. Your link does not pass muster as a source which could be used here and your assertion is thus not properly verifiable. Please avoid posting conspiracy theories in articles, although discussing them on talk pages is acceptable, as such a practice may lead to you being accused of disruptive editing. Such behaviour has potential consequences which you should be aware of. Philip Cross (talk) 15:19, 18 November 2017 (UTC)Reply
