Salonpas → Pain relief patch — Salonpas is a brand name for pain relief patches made by Hisamitsu. Similar patches made by other companies exist (e.g. Tiger Balm, BenGay Ultra). I see no need to restrict discussion to one brand. Cnilep (talk) 16:41, 5 March 2010 (UTC)
- I agree that a pain relief patch article would be a good idea, but I don't think that moving this article is the way to create it, as it would give undue weight to one brand, with most of the content being specifically about Salonpas. There's also the consideration that the Salonpas brand is also used for gels and sprays. We have room for articles on the generic concept of pain relief patches and on any notable brands of patches.
