Citations were removed from the article per the opinion essay Wikipedia:Citation overkill. I restored the citations because 1) the article is more accurate with them, 2) some of the sources provide only some information about the topic, while not including others, 3) It is more accurate to have citations that verify specific content at the end of sentences stating the information, rather than at the end of paragraphs; the removal of citations can lead to problems whereby other users may come along later and remove content from the article because it is not sourced, despite the fact that it initially was, and 4) WP:V carries much more weight compared to opinion essays.
