Forced to join the paramilitaries?
editI think that this passage "In 1987 the guerrillas in Colombia forced him to join the self-defense groups after threatening and extorsioning his family." is very contentious. It implies that joining illegal paramilitary groups was the unavoidable consequence of the guerrillas' action. I don't particularly want to enter into discussion about whether this is true or not, I'm more concerned that this is an extremely one sided and hard to back up argument. I wonder if there's anyone out there with more experience of editing than me, who might rectify this?

I don't think its accurate to say that the AUC fought the EPL. At least in Antioquia, they were allies against the FARC, despite their differences in ideology. Their alliance began in 1997 when the AUC was formed in Cordoba, and went into Uraba to defend EPL from the FARC. Today the demobilized EPL live peacefully with the AUC there. - Paul Wolf

Mancuso or Marcuso?
editThis article is about Salvatore Mancuso Gómez, and yet on at least three occasions he is referred to as Marcuso.
Under the section titled Extradition to the United States, the third sentence of the sixth paragraph starts out with "Marcuso's have suggested he might be killed if he were sent to Colombia.", a sentence that makes no sense.
