Samish (disambiguation)Samish – A few months ago, Samish people was moved from the title Samish, with the move rationale suggesting there be a DAB at the base name Samish. It looks like that was never followed through with, but there is a DAB page here, so I'm starting a requested move to see where the community stands. It is curious that the hatnote doesn't even appear in https://wikinav.toolforge.org/?language=en&title=Samish_people and the graphs don't render anything at all for the disambiguation page itself. There's a weirdness with counting incoming views but whether it's 302 or 425 it just doesn't seem like any appreciable amount of people are clicking the hatnote. I suppose we could give it a go still, given that https://pageviews.wmcloud.org/?project=en.wikipedia.org&platform=all-access&agent=user&redirects=0&range=latest-90&pages=Samish_people%7CSamish_River%7CSamish_Island,_Washington%7CSamish_(disambiguation)%7CSamish_dialect shows basically the same numbers, and then check if the change led to better navigation outcomes later. --Joy (talk) 10:25, 5 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
Support. I didn't move the DAB myself then because I wasn't exactly sure on the procedure. I also agree with Joy, if it doesn't do anything we can just remove it. ~~~ PersusjCP (talk) 17:30, 5 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
