Facts

edit

How about you stop all the nationalist korean bs and actually put some facts into these articles for once.

Stop inserting your anti-Korean biases into Korea-related articles. If you can't edit this article from a neutral point of view, then don't edit it at all. --Sewing 22:05, 27 Oct 2003 (UTC)

I fear you edit articles based on passion instead of facts. --Nanshu 23:23, 29 Oct 2003 (UTC)

I agree, there's too much nationalist korean hogwash in wikipedia already. all korean related articles should have a serious cleanup to remove all the korean bias. its appalling.

Can someone insert a website without any Korean biases? - MB —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.1.173.145 (talk) 14:53, 5 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Magic Turtle Property

edit

Samjeondo Monument is based on a stone turtle and has been buried and erected again several times from 1639 to nowadays.

But the base-turtle is a magic one that allows the monument to be buried again without being erected in the meantime, and also to be erected again without being buried in the meantime.

First proof: according to wikipedia, the monument, buried in 1895, was erected 1895, 1913, 1931 without being buried once during 1895-1944.

Second proof: according again to wikipedia, the monument was buried in 1945 and 1956 without being erected once during 1944-1960.

Moreover, the turtle is empowered with the Rübezahl property and can change at will its # in the list of Korean Historical Sites.

More details about year 1636 would be great

edit

Hong Taiji (1592-1643) started his career (1626) as Khan of the Great Jin (nowadays called Later Jin). His policy was to incorporate around him as much as possible of his defeated adversaries. In 1635, all of his initial basis were renamed Manchu (to keep track of who is who) and in 1636, he elevated his status into Emperor (instead of Khan) of the Great Qing (instead of Jin). This was an acknowledgment of his increasing power, but also a way to facilitate the transfers of loyalty of those who were taking distances from the deceasing Ming Dynasty.

It would be interesting to have a more precise timing, using days and not only years. At the 1636 surrender ceremony of King Injo, was Hong Taiji still only the Khan of Jin, or was the Qing Empire already proclaimed ? In other words, was the surrender ceremony one of the first acts of the new Emperor, or was the 1637 command of the Samjeondo Monument an a posteriori move ? Thanks in advance for these complements. Wrong spelling in the Manchu script picture

edit

I found File:Samjeondo Monument-Manchu.png seems have a wrong spelling within gurun-i and han-i, as I observe, the suffix -i should be sightly seperated from the proceding word (seen from this page), and joined via U+202F.--Great Brightstar (talk) 05:07, 15 October 2015 (UTC) Great Brightstar (talk) 05:07, 15 October 2015 (UTC)Reply
