Although most of their newer music can't be referred to as Black Metal (like a.Ura etc.) one of their first albums was even named "black metal opera" (Die Liebe Gottes). So they are still some kind of Black Metal band, but with influences from many other styles --84.62.134.6918:43, 1 July 2006 (UTC)Reply
but ... it was meant as a black (as in goth) "metal opera", not as a "black metal" opera...
there's a massive discussion in German Wikipedia about which style Samsas Traum is. Just leave it like it is. "Die Liebe Gottes" and "Heiliges Herz" contain Black Metal voices and topics and that should be enough. It's not a true Norwegian Black Metal band, but it doesn't need to, does ist? - 88.217.41.247 (talk) 00:15, 3 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
Samsas Traum is mostly Dark Metal afaik. A lot of websites say Samsas Traum is Black- or Gothic Metal. Dark Metal is some kind of mix, german wikipedia says it's dark metal too. Neue Deutsche Härte is embarrassing, Rammstein would be Neue Deutsche Härte. In Last.fm Samsas Traum is tagged as Gothic, Gothic Metal, Darkwave, Black Metal and Avantgarde. 79.201.245.158 (talk) 15:27, 21 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
