The i9500 is noted as having 4G LTE ? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 163.5.68.1 (talk) 15:41, 25 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Yes, According to the reference the Exynos 5 Octa SoC has got 4G LTE but it can not be matched with processor as well as Qualcomm's Snapdragon chips can, That is the reason why Samsung hasn't used i9500 with Exynos processor in western countries. --Faramarz♚♔♚
No, the i9500 does not have 4G LTE. This is specifically the non-LTE version. The i9505 has LTE and the version with Exynos 5 Octa + LTE is the SHV-E300. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samsung_Galaxy_S4#Octa-core_variant Qasdfdsaq (talk) 13:18, 18 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Other Galaxy S Phones?

edit

Shouldn't phones like the "Samsung Galaxy S Relay 4G" (T699), and "Galaxy S Note", "Galaxy S Note II", etc. be mentioned here? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.34.245.114 (talk) 21:58, 15 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Two scroll bars please!

edit

I think a horizontal scroll bar should be both above and below, not just below, for the growing comparison section...

Snapdragon in the s5?

Can somebody please source this? TechInsight says they moved to the Broadcom BCM4354 SoC

comparison table is too long, vertically

edit

it needs to be broken up, say 768 pixels height for example. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dskjfs3ej38j (talkcontribs) 17:34, 14 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

SIM card type

edit

Please add table row data for the type of SIM card each phone uses (mini-SIM, micro-SIM, or nano-SIM). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 197.79.37.238 (talk) 11:39, 26 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

Why div overflow-x:scroll?

edit

In the section Comparison there is a <div style="overflow-x:scroll">, which makes it impossible to scroll right in IE and in Chrome. This is a very bad choice which makes it impossible to see the columns of S III, S4, S5 and S6. I propose removing style="overflow-x:scroll". Rursus dixit. Battery

edit

There should be a line in the table that shows which if the battery is removable. --MrBurns (talk) 12:28, 9 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

Move the comparison table to a new page?

edit

I propose creating a new page entitled "Comparison of Samsung Galaxy S smartphones" and moving the comparison table to that page. The layout of the pages would be similar to that of the Google Nexus page, where the phones and a brief description are listed on one page, and a comparison table is listed on the other page. Discussion about Samsung Galaxy X

edit

There is a discussion at Samsung Galaxy X regarding the appropriate target for that redirect. Editors, especially those with knowledge of Samsung Galaxy products, are invited to share their views there. — Archer1234 (t·c) 18:38, 15 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Proposed merge of Samsung Galaxy S Plus into Samsung Galaxy S series

edit

Although reliable sources do exist, it isnt sufficient enough to be it's own article, and thus could be a section on the Samsung Galaxy S series article. Jeffhardyfan08 (talk) 08:53, 29 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Shouldn't the content go to Samsung Galaxy S (2010 smartphone) instead?
Note that the "versions" of the S (L, Plus, Player, Advance, Duos, Duos 2, Duos 3) (see Template:Samsung Galaxy S) aren't all referenced either on Samsung Galaxy S series or on Samsung Galaxy S (2010 smartphone). By the way, are those versions all considered flagship-quality smartphones? The RedBurn (ϕ) 09:04, 30 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
